REMBRANDT
Rembrandt was Approved in 2003,
placing 4th in the Approvals Championship. He
received an extremely good report from the jury and
was described as an exceptionally talented dressage
pony who also possessed a fantastic jump, beautiful
conformation and three outstanding paces. In the
autumn of 2004 , Rembrandt successfully completed
his Stallion Performance Test in Germany with an
average score of 8.36 points. In 2005, ridden by
young Maureen Keurntjes, Rembrandt won the
preselections for the Pavo Cup for 4 and 5yo ponies,
qualifying him for the finals. The Pavo Cup finals
were held at Ermello in August 2005. At the end of
the first round, REMBRANDT was in the lead with a
score of 83 points, and in the finals, under the
test riders, he out performed the two other
finalists to be named Pavo Cup winner. Jury member
Jan Peters praised his fantastic exterior, and very
good paces, giving him a score of 9.0 for his trot.
