WOLKENTANZ II
A dancer, not only in the clouds, but also in
proximity to the ground. This horse, with his
dreamlike type, moves like a champion of tomorrow.
He fulfils the highest of requirements in regard to
shape, dynamics of movement, charisma and riding
attributes. This is substantiated by his outstanding
stallion performance test, which he absolved as
vice-champion with a score of 133 points. He was
sovereign winner of the partial dressage index in
which he gained 143 points and moreover was awarded
the dream score of 10,0 for rideability twice.
Several state studs and private stallion stations
have secured themselves sires from this damline,
with its assured heredity. The full-brother
Wolkentanz I (approvals winner and federal champion)
and Chasseur I by Calypso are stationed in Celle,
whilst Chasseur II is stationed in Dillenburg.
Competition sports horses such as Aristo by
Aristides, April by Aristides, Whisky pur by
Watzmann as well as Giorgio Armani by Grandissimo
have had successes up to advanced class. The
foundation sire and sire of type Absatz appears in
the pedigree twice. The Thoroughbred Der Löwe xx and
the Anglo-Norman Furioso II are stallions that have
made history in the annals of German riding horse
breeding and guarantee Wolkentanz II's prepotency of
hereditary transmission. His competition season is
marked by spectacular wins, including the win in the
qualification for the federal championship at the
state competition in Aschendorf, as well as the
participation for Germany in the World Championship
of Young Dressage Horses in Arnheim, Netherlands.
He completed the dressage tests at the International
Dressage Festival in Lingen in 2000 as winner, with
the dream score of 9.6. Then in 2001, he was a
finalist of the six year old dressage horses in
Warendorf. The quality and popularity of his foals
has been substantiated over recent years, by top
prices at the Vechta and Verden auction sites, where
he attained his record price thus far, for a colt
which fetched the price of Euro 30,678. His crops of
foals produced two sons who were given a positive
evaluation at the approval, one of whom was awarded
a premium.
