Weltjunge is a product of modern Hannovarian breeding. The combination of Weltmeyer/Matcho AA is very popular in Hannover with several stallions of that combination.
Weltjunge is approved by Hannovarian, Oldenburg and Swedish studbooks. He was awarded the best 4 year old stallion by the Danish Warmblood in 2001 and won his performance test in dressage. His foals inherit his extremely good gaits and are of modern types. Already in 2005 his dressage index is 147. In 2006 he is no. 4 in exterior index in Denmark with 132p.

The Sire, Weltmeyer, was awarded Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 1998, capping off an elustrious career as both a riding horse, and one of the most influential sires of recent years. He was Champion of the Hanoverian Licensing in 1986 and Champion of the Stallion Performance Test in 1987, National Champion Three Year Old Riding Horse of Germany in 1987, and DLG Champion of 1989. Weltmeyer has sired seven German National Champion Riding Horses, namely Wolkenstein II, Wolkentanz, Welt Hit IV, White Star, Wildrose, Wittinger, and Weltburger. He has sired several Grand Prix Dressage horses, including Weserperle, Wallstreet (who competed for Australia in the Sydney Olympics), and the outstanding Weltall, who was a member of the Gold Medal winning German Dressage team at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Weltmeyer has sired at least 64 licensed stallions, and well over 200 State Premium mares.
 

The Damsire Matcho AA,This incredibly beautiful stallion is sought after for his riding horse qualities. His offspring are all very good in temperament and rideablity, with good gaits, and sometimes show jumping talent. He can be found in the pedigree of many of today’s top performance horses and is much sought after as a dam sire. Matcho's outstanding record of quality includes 46 licensed sons, 64 States Premium Mares and 215 Main Studbook Mares.
