SHOWDOWN
Showdown is an elegant young stallion with 3 very
high quality paces. An uncommon occurance in the
present day is the fact that Showdown successfully
completed both his 30 Day Test in Neustadt/Dosse,
and his 70 Day Test, in which he received an overall
score of 122.12.
Showdown is sired by the great stallion and
extremely popular sire, Sandro Hit. Sandro Hit was
winner of the 6yo Bundeschampionat in dressage and
champion of the World Young Horse Championships at
Arnheim, in the Netherlands. He has, himself, sired
several Bundeschampions, including Poetin, Samba Hit
I, Sandro Classic and Show Star, as well as
Licensing Champions and Reserve Champions, etc.,
such as Sir Donnerhall, Sinatra Song, Sir Savoy, Sir
Willson, Sandrit, Stedinger and Samba Hit II.
The Dam, Goldfee, was sired by the Gotthard son,
Goldstern, who is considered to be one of the best
dual purpose sires of the modern day, having sired
many progeny who have achieved success in both
showjumping and dressage. Also on Showdown's dam
line is a successful branch of the Thoroughbred
family 11, making him closely related to numerous
prominent horses in Thoroughbred breeding.
Thoroughbred family 11 is also prominent in
warmblood breeding, via the refining stallions Abary
xx, Acatenango xx, Agavit xx (Who stood at
Sachsen-Anhalt), Black Sky xx (Who stood at Hannover
and Rhineland-Pfalz) and Game Fox xx (Who stood at
the State Stud in Warendorf). |
