RELIUS
This
stallion has a combination of the best Dressage
sires in the world in his direct pedigree. It is no
mistake that he has exceptional movement and
conformation. He was Reserve Champion of his 70 Day
performance Test at Neustadt/Dosse in 2004 with an
overall score of 130.24. In the dressage phase he
scored an impressive 144.11. He is a young stallion
who has a huge future ahead of him.
The Sire, Rohdiamant is a descendant of the most successful
dressage bloodlines in the world and was destined
for stardom. After winning the Approvals in 1992,
Rohdiamant won the Oldenburg Riding Horse
Championships in Rastede in 1993 and became a
Federal Champion at Mannheim and runner-up in the
Stallion Performance Test. In 1994 he won 6 novice
and elementary dressage tests in 6 starts. He was
Champion Dressage Horse of his generation in
Oldenburg and Main Premium Stallion in 1994.
Rohdiamant three times received the score of 10.00
from extraneous riders, becoming the sensational
unequivocal winner in the dressage index with a
score of 150.01 points, ahead of his half-brother
Rubirando. The dark tan horse left no doubts as to
his class at the Federal Championship of three-year
olds, becoming Champion under Martina Hannöver.
The success story
of the undoubtedly most outstanding Rubinstein son
thus far was just as extraordinary as his sire:
Federal Champion 5-year old dressage horse, wins in
Grand Prix competitions on the international stage,
selected for the American Olympic team under Lisa
Wilcox. The breeding aspect is likewise dotted with
exceptional situations. At his Premium age class of
1994, a Rohdiamant/Landadel foal was sold at the
Vechta May auction for the sensational sum of DM
50.000. Two years later this young stallion was
Approved and awarded the 1-e Premium under the name
of Rabano. Then in 1998 Rohdiamant, who was awarded
the Main National Premium in 1994 demonstrated what
he was really worth.
At the Rastede
Schlosspark, he presented the spruce mare Reine
Seide as the Champion of the Oldenburg Elite Show.
Not long after, at the Federal Three-Year Old Riding
Horse Championship, the Warendorf State Stallion
Roman Nature was at the very forefront. What's more,
at the Oldenburg stallion Days in the Weser-Ems
Hall, the sire from Cappeln stole the show: Royal
Dance, a noble liver chestnut with strong gaits was
declared Champion Stallion. What a feat ! In the FN
breeding value rating for dressage, Rohdiamant
received second place with a score of 154 points in
1999. Ronaldo, the year 2000 Vice-Champion five-year
old dressage horse in Warendorf had one year earlier
been the glorious Champion of the four-year olds.
The top horse of the autumn 2000 Vechta auction
Royal Olymp, who was sold for DM 520.000 has
Rohdiamant as his sire. To date, Royal Olymp is the
second most expensive horse ever auctioned in Vechta.
From 1996-2002, Rohdiamant competed to the highest
levels of international dressage.
Performance Highlights:
1992 - Winner of the Approval in Oldenburg,
1993 – Bundeschampion and Reserve Champion of the
Stallion Performance Test (dressage index 150.00
points),
1994 – Winner of the Main Premium in Oldenburg,
1995 – Bundeschampion of 5 year old dressage
horses,
1996 – 2002 - active in international dressage
sport. Life-time earnings in Germany are presently
70,514 EURO.
On the basis of his numerous Licensed sons (42),
Champion and Reserve Champion Stallions, States
Premium and Brilliantring Mares, top auction horses
and Bundeschampions, Rohdiamant can be designated a
trademark stallion. To his offspring he passes on
his type, rideability and above all his enormous
movement dynamics.
Some of his most successful off-spring: Reine Seide
(1998 Oldenburg Champion Mare), Ron William
(Champion Stallion in Oldenburg, 2001), Rubin Royal
(Main Premium winner in Oldenburg, 2001), Rosenberg
(2003 Champion Stallion of the British Warmblood
Ass.), Rosentanz (Top priced stallion at the 2003
approval in Verden and winner of the 30-day test in
Münster Handorf ´04), Rembrandt Royal (top priced
stallion at the 2003 approval in Vechta), Riverdance
(top priced riding horse at the auction in
Münster-Handorf 2004), Blue Hors Romanov (2004
Champion Stallion in Denmark), Royal Prince (Winner
of the National Dressage Championships in the class
for 5 year old horses in Kentucky Horse Park, USA),
Rhodon (2004 Champion Stallion of ZFDP 2004).
The Damsire, Weltmeyer, was awarded Hanoverian
Stallion of the Year in 1998, capping off an
elustrious career as both a riding horse, and, more
importantly, one of the most influential sires of
recent years. He was Champion of the Hanoverian
Licensing in 1986 and Champion of the Stallion
Performance Test in 1987, National Champion 3yo
Riding Horse of Germany in 1987, and DLG Champion of
1989. Weltmeyer has sired seven German National
Champion riding horses, namely Wolkenstein II,
Wolkentanz, Welt Hit IV, White Star, Wildrose,
Wittinger, and Weltburger. He has sired several
Grand Prix dressage horses, including Weserperle,
Wallstreet, and Weltall, who was a member of the
Gold Medal Winning German Dressage Team at the 2004
Olympics in Athens. Weltmeyer has sired at least 64
Licensed sons, and well over 200 State Premium
mares. |
