RAVALLO
A Raphael son
already proved in breeding with good size and
elegant looks. Ravallo passes on the versatility he
inherited from his sire in an exemplary manner. He
was the winner of his performance test in Medingen
in 1988 with an outstanding total index of 155.43
and was then trained as a riding horse before he
started to breed in 1993.
Ravallo makes
noble foals that are mostly dark in color with good
type and elastic, uphill movements. There have been
many winners of regional foal shows as well as
national championships and many of his foals and
offspring have been sold at the auctions in Verden.
Ravallo has sired
four licensed sons in various breeding areas:
Ratinho, Ravensburger, Ritano and Rolex Ravel. In
2004, Ravallo's name appeared in the headlines as
the dam's sire of the much noticed NRW approval
winner, Fidertanz.
His offspring
have pronounced versatile talents and many are
successful up to advanced level in dressage as well
as show jumping. Their achievements have put him in
a leading position in the FN breeding value
statistics year for year.
Through
Goldstein-Pik König-Abhang III-Weiler-Goldfisch II,
Ravallo has classic Oberndorf bloodlines on his
dam's side. Ravallo's dam line is known for the
stallions Amoroso I, II and III, John Whitaker's
successful Calvaro Z, Comics Junior, D'Artagnan
(Australia), Effect (Denmark), Eusebuis, Mangan,
Matchero, Roccodero B and Schwabe.
