Ludwig Von Bayern
Large-framed
package of muscles with a powerful move-off and a
marvelous canter. His jumping is sensational with an
ideal technique and unlimited potential.
He passed his 30 day test with flying colours and
top scores for rideability (10.0) and free jumping
(9.5). But he also jumps fantastically under a rider
and has won several tests for young jumpers in
elementary and medium level. In 2004 and 2005 he
qualified for the Bundeschampionat for German
jumpers in Warendorf but was unfortunately unable to
participate due to an injury.
His performance
ability was additionally ensured on the dam's side
of his pedigree by the top Westphalian sires, Pilot
and Damokles. His dam is a full sister of a private
stallion in Bavaria called Lanacar.
This line is also
well known for stallions such as Donadoni, Iroki
(NL), Pinoccio, Graf Aramis and the successful
international show jumper, Aramis/Franke Sloothaak.
A very good and
extremely well moving foal crop was rewarded with
the 1c premium at the 2003 Oldenburg approval in
Vechta. One of his fillies won the qualification for
the German Foal Championships in Lastrup in 2004.
When his first crop was up for approval in 2005 in
Vechta, he managed a masterpiece: both candidates
presented were licensed and our Ludwigs As became
the 2 nd Reserve Champion and "Best Jumper Stallion
of the Year".
