LIMNOS
Even though he's only eight-years young, the Lauries
Crusador xx son Laudabilis has drawn a considerable
amount of attention. He competed several times in
the Bundeschampionat finals and took third place as
a five-year old. Several of his foals were sold for
top prices at auctions. Last spring he was the sire
of the two most expensive horses at the North Rhine
Westphalian auction which sold for 160,000 and
106,000 Euros. With Warkant and Eiger in his
pedigree as well, Laudabilis has two guarantees for
movement.
The dam' side of Limnos' pedigree will appeal to
dressage riders: the dam Fortuna is inbred over
Florestan's sire Fidelio and with Fidermark and
Donnerschlag you find two Grand Prix stallions that
both sired horses of international format. In spite
of all the significance for the dressage ring,
Limnos also brings – just like his sire with a good
canter – a considerable portion of talent for
jumping. At the licensing in Münster-Handorf our new
discovery received a lot of applause for his
powerful lift-off, the sequence of his jump and his
very good bascule
