LEONARDO DI VINCI
Leonardo da
Vinci; the invincible Reserve Champion of the
dressage stallions at the 70-day test in Neustadt
Dosse with 126,09 index points.
Leonardo da Vinci
gained Approval from the committee of inspection for
breeding in 2005 because of his beautiful presence
and exceptional movements. The 3 basic gaits were
shown by the long-legged beauty with lots of tact
and flexibility.
His qualities
were rewarded in the performance test with:
character 9.0, work ability 8.5, walk 8.5, trot
8.83, canter 8.0 and rideability 8.5.
In breeding
Leonardo da Vinci appears to exceed all
expectations, his offspring are long-legged, modern
foals that move in an uphill way with lots of
elasticity.
Leonardo da
Vinci: your guarantee for the future
His sire, the
Hannoverian stallion of the year 2006, Lauries
Crusador xx, is becoming more popular in Germany.
A Thoroughbred that supports the Warmblood horse
breeding in the correct way. With already 30
Approved sons and 79 State Premium daughters,
Lauries Crusador xx belongs to the star stallions of
Germany.
The dam line of
Leonardo da Vinci is also valuable in modern day
breeding. Through his grandsire Davignon I the
popular blood of Donnerhall x Pik Bube is found.
Furthermore this dam line goes back to Don Juan (Don
Carlos). Don Carlos is known as the sire of the
gelding Dondolo, who under Gonnelien Rothenberger
took part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta. This
interesting dam line also brought the two time World
Champion Florencio I, his full brother, the approved
stallion Florencio II and the international jumper
Porte-Bonheur from Markus Fuchs. The dam line has
also produced many sports horses which have been
brought out in national and international Prix St.
Georges and Intermediaire I.
