LAUDABILIS

Laudabilis is a stallion of the highest standard.

His walk is very large and ground covering, his trot is super with unbelievably strong engagement and his canter is supple, uphill and rhythmically jumped. The stallion has three basic gaits of top quality.

The demand for him as a sire has been enormous. His foals have very long legs and wonderful movement mechanisms. He is a good improver of quality and passing on his fortés. The 2005 foal crop of Laudabilis were of outstanding quality (two price highlights at the Munster Elite Auction). He also made a successful debut in the show ring under Oliver Oelrich, qualifying for Warendorf early in the 2005 show season.

At the Bundeschampionate (only his 4th show!!) he finished third in round one and maintained that bronze medal position in the Finals.

The Sire Laurie’s Crusador xx was probably the most valued TB sire in the Hanoverian breed for dressage. Lauries Crusador xx began his WB-breeding career in 1990 at Landgestüt Celle.
Among his numerous progeny are found successful GP competitors in dressage (such as Lesotho or Little Big Man) as well as respected breeding stallions with Longchamp, Londonderry (both Hanover) and Laurentianer (Westfalen) probably being the most recognized.
As of 2004 his scores for the FN dressage index were 138 - quite unique for a straight TB and ranks even higher in the Hanoverian Verbands database for improving type and riding horse points (161) and any other criteria except for jumping which is clearly not his major discipline although he does have a few successful progeny competing over 4'7'' as well as in higher level eventing.
Among his 295 daughters registered as broodmares with the Hanoverian Verband  86 qualified for a States Premium Award or Title with SPS Luna (born 1999) winning the Verband-wide Ratje-Niebuhr-Show in 2002. By now more than 29 sons have been Licensed by Breeding Associations, 9 of them being fully Approved with the Hanoverian Verband.

The Damsire Warkant’s offspring caused a sensation on auctions and at tournaments. 37 of his offspring were the best horses of their auctions, 13 of them were sold at top prices of more than 50.000, EUR. Prices went as high as 200.0000 EUR for Wilberforce by Warkant/Eiger or the sensational amount of 255.000 EUR for Wahajama by Warkant/Acapulco. Many of his offspring followed the successful path of auctions, Federal Championships and tournaments. In 1991, Wanessa by Warkant/Eiger won the Federal Championships of the German Riding Horses. In 1999, Wahajama followed in the dressage horse category. Presently, she is on her way to become one of the most successful dressage horses with Ann-Kathrin Linsenhoff. Wansuela Suerte by Warkant/Wachmann is another example. She counts among one of the most successful Grand Prix-horses trained by dressage trainer Hubertus Schmidt. World Champion Ulla Salzgeber also bought a Warkant-offspring of exceptional quality: World Magic by Warkant/Cavalier.
