Gestüt Bon
homme is near Potsdam in Germany. It is a very
picturesque area noted for it’s strong breeding
ties.
The stud was started in 1987 and
is now home to 17 stallions. The title EU Station is
not easy to come by and this is another string that
can be added to the Gestüt Bonhomme bow.Mrs Evalyn
Gutman is the owner of the Gestut and has done
herself proud in it’s design.
A
brand new establishment, opening it’s doors in
February 2005, it is a vision to behold. Contained
under one roof the features of stud are truly a
tribute to a woman with vision.

The horses are catered for in
luxury most equines can only dream of. The first
thing you notice as you walk in is that the horses
are very serene, a testament to the care and love
that they receive.

Sandro Song takes pride of place
in the stallion barn. What most people don’t seem to
realise is that the Dynasty did not start with
Sandro Hit, it started with his sire, Sandro Song.
This is a stallion who can jump as well as he can
move and this is proven in his scores for his
licensing.
Mrs
Gutman purchased Sandro Song from his breeder, Paul
Schockemohle, as a youngster and has owned him ever
since. Mr Schockemohle has offered to buy the
stallion back on numerous occasions to no avail.
Mrs Gutman is a rarity among
breeders in Europe. She is a woman with a passion
for the horses she owns and this is evident in the
horses when you amble around her Gestüt.
It is planned that we will be
offering riding holidays for people wanting to go to
Germany and ride/train with top instructors at this
exclusive venue. For enquiries send an email to
