GRACIEUX
The
spitting image of his sire Grannus, he passes on a
strong charisma that also comes from his dam's side
who has two trademark stallions of their day, Akzent
II and Frohnherr (by Furioso II), in her pedigree.
Because of their fabulous technique, Gracieux'
off-spring are in high demand by show jumping riders
the world over.
Gracieux, a Grannus son, presents himself in a
distinguished black coat--the typical outfit of his
great sire. A capital, model athlete who makes a
clear performance statement that is reinforced by
Akzent II, known for ridability, as well as Furioso
II and Volturno in the following generations. The
former German Champion and international jumper,
Zerberus 3 (Ludger Beerbaum and Dirk Hafemeister),
also comes from this dam line. Gracieux was able to
fully confirm the high expectations placed in him by
becoming Reserve Champion of the 1996 Stallion
Performance Test in Neustadt/Dosse: he was awarded
the highest scores for all criteria. After a series
of wins and high placings in jumping horse tests up
to medium level, he has now won or placed highly in
medium to advanced level. His first offspring have
received the highest scores. They have proved to be
noble, good-sized and with fantastic movement
qualities.
Many
of Gracieux' off-spring successfully achieved
advanced (S) level a long time ago.
Gracieux began his career as the Reserve Champion of
his stallion performance test and then started off
like a rocket in sport. First with Gilbert Böckmann
(including the Weser-Ems Champion and winner of the
Indoor Derby of Vienna), later with Alina Klatte on
the German team and then with 13-year old Victoria
Klatte.
Gracieux continuously puts on outstanding
performances. Gialotta stands at the very top of
Mario Steven's successful jumpers
