FLORENCIO II
Florencio II is the Licensed full
brother to the dual World Champion, Florencio, he
was Reserve Champion of his 30 day test, and was
then awarded Reserve Champion at the 4 yo
Bundeschampionat in 2003. In 2004, Florencio won the
5yo World Young Horse Championships, receiving score
of 10.0 for his canter, a 9.70 for trot, 9.80 for
walk, the overall score of 9.80. The following year,
in the 6 yo event, he achieved a 10.0 for his
canter, 9.80 for trot, 9.50 for walk, and an overall
score of 9.48.
Florencio II was sired by the
Westphalian stallion, Florestan I, who has sired
more than 50 licensed stallions.. Florestan was
Champion of the 1988 Rheinland Approvals, and
Champion of his Performance Test at Warendorf in
1989. As well as Florencio, some of Florestan's many
sons include Fidermark, Furst Heinrich, and French
Kiss.
Fidermark was awarded Reserve
Champion of his Licensing, Champion of his
Performance Test, with a score of 141.74 points and
4 year old Bundeschampionat winner, he also competed
to Grand Prix level in Dressage, ridden by Marlies
van Baalen. Fidermark sired 30 licensed sons,
including 3 year old Bundeschampionat winnerFurst
Fabio, Licensing Champion and Bundeschampionat
Reserve Champion Fidertanz, 100 Day Test Champion
Feinsinn, Falsterbo, Fiderwind, Fiano and Furst
Piccolo (Premium Stallion and Champion of his
Performance Test)
Furst Heinrich was Champion of his
licensing in Oldenburg, and Champion of his 30 day
Stallion Performance Test at Münster Handorf in
2001. In 2002, he was Champion 4yo Premium Stallion
at the Oldenburg Stallion Licensing Day. Urst
Heinrich was awarded Champion 5yo at the 2003 World
Young Horse Championships, beating fellow Florestan
son, French Kiss, who was named 2nd Reserve
Champion.
Furst Heinrich was a prolific sire
who produced well over 20 Licensed stallions, twelve
from his first crop of foals, as well as many top
priced auction foals. One of his sons was sold at
the Verden auction for 160,000 Euros. Furst Heinrich
sired many Licensing Champions and Reserve
Champions, as well as Premium Stallions, including
Van The Man, Furst Grandios, First Final, Furst
Romadour, etc. The elegant black stallion, French
Kiss, was Champion of his Licensing at Marbuch in
2000. In 2002, French Kiss won the 4yo
Bundeschampionat with an overall score of 9.14. In
2003 at the World Young Horse Championships he was
awarded 2nd Reserve Champion in the same event. In
2004 at the World Young Horse Championships French
Kiss was named Champion 6yo and Florencio was
awarded Champion 5yo.
Florencio II's Damsire, Weltmeyer, was awarded
Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 1998. He was
Champion of the Hanoverian Licensing in 1986,
Champion of the Stallion Performance Test in 1987,
National Champion Three Year Old Riding Horse of
Germany in 1987 and DLG Champion of 1989. Weltmeyer
has sired seven German National Champion Riding
Horses, Wolkenstein II, Wolkentanz, Welt Hit IV,
White Star, Wildrose, Wittinger, and Weltburger. He
has sired several Grand Prix Dressage horses,
including Weserperle, Wallstreet (who competed for
Australia in the Sydney Olympics) and Weltall, who
was a member of the Gold Medal winning German
Dressage team at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
Weltmeyer has sired more than 64 Licensed sons, and
well over 200 State Premium mares. |
