FERNET
A very
self-assured, shiny black, modern Oldenburg from one
of the best families who always moves uphill. As the
winner of the Foal Championships in Hagen, his
excellent gaits were already evident as a foal.
His sire, Fürst
Heinrich, who unfortunately died when he was still
young, became a legend while he was alive: 2003
World Champion of six year old dressage horses in
Verden, highly courted foal crops that produced
championship winners and brought the highest prices
at many of the foal auctions all over Germany. The
first two years his sons were up for approval, 20
young stallions were licensed, including the
Champion Stallion in Vechta, the Reserve Champion
Stallions in Vechta and Münster-Handorf and the 2005
Westphalian Champion Mare.
The dam's sire,
Pik Labionics (private stallion in Westphalia) is
one of the leading sires of his year and produces
top horses for breeding and sport – advanced level
dressage horses as well as advanced level jumpers –
year for year.
In the following
generation of his pedigree you find Grundstein I, a
performance sire well known for passing on versatile
talents who is especially welcomed in the mare lines
of any pedigree. The Duellant son, Derby, who was
quite popular in Artland, adds a touch of Arabian
bloodlines, making this excellent pedigree rather
unusual.
The dam line is
also known for the licensed sport stallion Priano
(by Pik Labionics).
