DR
DOOLITTLE
In
2003 he received the 1c main premium for stallions
with emphasis on dressage at the Oldenburg approval.
Dr. Doolittle qualified for the Bundeschampionat as
a five and six year old, immediately won his first
medium level dressage tests when he was six and in
2006 when he had just turned seven, he placed in
several advanced level dressage tests, bringing home
two ribbons for second place.
Dr.
Doolittle seems to feel obligated to continue this
family tradition. His own success curve has taken a
steep upward trend and his qualifications for the
Bundeschampionat when he was five and six years old
were just a matter of form. Dr. Doolittle and Sandra
Kötter meanwhile win ribbons up to Intermédiaire I.
His
good-sized off-spring which have the very good walk
of their sire are much in demand – and not just
because of their dark coats.
Long legs, noble, with that certain esprit and
powerful hindquarters – just the way tomorrow's
dressage horse should look. And that's the way his
off-spring are. His many licensed sons underline the
qualities of this highly successful dressage star.
Breeders who pay particular attention to their
success in the future should have Dr. Doolittle on
their list of sires
At
foal championships, Dr. Doolittle's off-spring have
been excellent advertisements, also in the final at
the German Foal Championships in Lienen. His very
first crop has already produced a Premium stallion.
Dr. Doolittle takes a special place on the widely
branched male side of the Oldenburg dressage legend
Donnerhall and his pedigree is a sight for dressage
experts. With the Thoroughbred stallion Lauries
Crusador and the Trakehner stallion Argument, he has
two refinement sires on his dam' side that both
sired several highly successful Grand Prix horses,
some of which even competed internationally.
