DON
MARCO
Don
Marco was the Reserve Champion at the 2004
Hanoverian Approvals. He combines an exceptionally
brilliant type with excellent lines, correct
conformation and a perfect exterior. Three first
class gaits that are forward moving with a swinging
back promise an extremely comfortable riding
experience. These characteristics were confirmed by
the results of his first saddle test. Don Marco also
makes a great impression at the fence with
unbelievable potential when it comes to ability,
technique and bascule.
Don Marco completed his 30-day-test in Schlieckau in
2005 with outstanding results, receiving 9.0 for
character and 8.5 or better for his basic gaits.
The Sire Don Frederico was Champion Stallion at the
1999 Hanoverian approval in Verden and Reserve
Champion at his performance test in Adelheidsdorf.
After impressive presentations at the
Bundeschampionat finals in 2002 and 2003, he is
meanwhile successful up to Intermédiare I.
The Damsire Pik Bube I a highly successful dressage
stallion under Herbert Rehbein (in one season he won
11 of the 12 advanced level dressage tests he
entered) and is deemed one of the most versatile
sires in modern day German breeding history.
Matrose, found in the third generation, is known for
transmitting his good temperament, willingness to
perform and versatile talents. Many of his offspring
have reached the highest levels in dressage as well
as jumping. Don Marco comes from the Hanoverian
Athenia line (by Atlantic-Amundsen, etc.) which
produced licensed stallions such as Aranjuez
(private stallion in Hanover), Corlago (private
stallion in Badenwürttemberg and an Approval
winner), Laudatio (private stallion in Austria),
Rodgau (State Stud Dillenburg and an Approval
winner) as Wassilej.
