DARC ROUGE
As
his pedigree predestines, Darc Rouge is an
ultra-modern, intelligent jumper with a clear head,
swift reflexes at the jump, unlimited talent, a
polished technique and a movement quality that is
exceptional in the camp of jumper-makers.
Riders the world over who are into show jumping go
weak in the knees if they are able to ensure a
jumper by Darco to ride. No wonder. Darco took sixth
place under Ludo Phillippaerts (BEL) at the 1990
World Equestrian Games in Stockholm and seventh in
the Olympic Games final of Barcelona in 1992.
Off-spring such as Otterongo, Parco/Ludo
Phillipaerts, Padarco/Otto Becker or Sapphire/McLain
Ward (USA) are or were the talk of the town.
Darc Rouge's dam's side is no less interesting:
Papillon Rouge is a trademark stallion, and not just
among the Selle Français stallions. As the sire of
Fleche Rouge/Leopold van Asten (NED) and Mozart des
Hayettes/Michael Whitaker (GBR), he's always good
for headlines. The Holstein jumper legends Landgraf
and Lord complement the select make up of her
pedigree.
