CHIN QUIN
A pedigree whose
international show jumping genes meet every
breeder’s requirements. His Sire Chin Chin,
Grandsire Quidam de Revel as well as great-grand
sire Voltaire, all of them were successful show
jumping horses.
At the Olympic
Games in Seoul in 1988 the Holstein Chin Chin (by
Constant) was placed sixth in individual with his
American rider Jaime Azcarraga. Four years later he
also took part in the Olympic Games in Barcelona.
At the Olympic
Games in Barcelona in 1992 Quidam de Revel firstly
gained the team bronze medal with his rider Hervé
Godignon and they became fourth in individual. Later
he won Grand Prix of Hannover, Helsinki and Arhus
with the Danish rider Thomas Velin. Meanwhile,
numerous sons, grandsons and great-grandsons of
Quidam de Revel have covered world-wide. With Jos
Lansink Voltaire (by Furioso II) took part in
international show jumping e.g. in Calgary,
Stockholm, Lanaken, Helsinkin, Wiesbaden and London
Olympic Hall.
The international
show jumpers Dimpel and Freedom by Voltaire (Ludo
Philippaerts) derive from the same bloodline. Chin
Quin a medium-sized stallion with a lot of
thoroughbred quality and excellent movements jumps
with amazing bascule, energy and performance. |
