CHIN QUIN

A pedigree whose international show jumping genes meet every breeder’s requirements. His Sire Chin Chin, Grandsire Quidam de Revel as well as great-grand sire Voltaire, all of them were successful show jumping horses.

At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 the Holstein Chin Chin (by Constant) was placed sixth in individual with his American rider Jaime Azcarraga. Four years later he also took part in the Olympic Games in Barcelona.

At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 Quidam de Revel firstly gained the team bronze medal with his rider Hervé Godignon and they became fourth in individual. Later he won Grand Prix of Hannover, Helsinki and Arhus with the Danish rider Thomas Velin. Meanwhile, numerous sons, grandsons and great-grandsons of Quidam de Revel have covered world-wide. With Jos Lansink Voltaire (by Furioso II) took part in international show jumping e.g. in Calgary, Stockholm, Lanaken, Helsinkin, Wiesbaden and London Olympic Hall.

The international show jumpers Dimpel and Freedom by Voltaire (Ludo Philippaerts) derive from the same bloodline. Chin Quin a medium-sized stallion with a lot of thoroughbred quality and excellent movements jumps with amazing bascule, energy and performance.
