CANCOON

Cancoon was the overwhelming winner of the jumping phase of his Licensing with a score of 145.27.

The Sire, Colmanis impressive by appearance, clearly a performance horse. Energetic hind quarter action full of elasticity, his jumping capacity is sensational, with excellent leg technique and bascule. He completed his 100-Day-Performance Test in Marbach 1999, Colman won the jumping phase and placed in the top group overall. Meanwhile, he won several jumping competitions for young horses. He is a typical son of the international showjumper Carthago.

Dam’s sire Lord became one of the most famous stallions in the Holstein breed. In the third generation we find the outstanding thoroughbred Marlon xx. Colman represents the Holstein dam line 223 a, that was made popular by the stallions Camposanto, Grant I und II, Heimchen, Heini, Mirko, Oktavus and Leon and the top Holstein auction horse 1999, Curly Sue (sold for DM 400.000).
Colman has already produced quality foals.  In 2003 his first impressive sons were Licensed in

Holstein. Cancoon was sold to the Brandenburg State stud and Culture I was sold to the USA. He now has 11 Licensed sons, some of which are: Catwalk (state stallion at Marbach) and Culture II were Premium stallions at the Zweibrücken stallion licensing 2005, Con Cosmos was 2nd Reserve Champion at the Holstein licensing 2005. The oldest offspring are very successful in jumping competitions.

You find the Sire Lord twice in Cancoon’s direct pedigree. Lord was Champion of the 1969 Approvals and later competed in Advanced three-day eventing under Herbert Bliicker. Lord sired the winners of over 3 million euros, including Livius (Bronze Medal LA Olympics, European Championships, 1st Nations Cup Rome, Hickstead, Spruce Meadows, etc. 1st  Grand Prix of Rome, Ox Ridge Grand Prix, Grosser Volvo Deutchland Preis, Everest Double Glaxing National GP, etc.), America I (born Lord De Luxe, 1st  Grand Prix of New York), Indeed (1st  Upperville Classic, qualified for World Equestrian Games 1998, 2nd  USET Selection Trial #5), Lafayette (1st  Nations Cup Praha, Hickstead, 2nd  Gran Premio Citta di Palermo, etc.), LUGANA 6 (1st  Prei des Kreisreiterverbandes, Parcours de Chasse, Preis der Schultheis Brauerai, Volvo Royal Trophy, etc.), Carroll's Belle (Ist  Preis der Stadt Donaueschining, ]F~Iolmer~ Cup, 2nd  Preis der Volkswagenwerk, etc.), Pedro (1st  Grand Prix Mouton Cadet Biarritz), Top Seed, Lordon , Veperon, Tovia, Montanus Jump, Elmshorn, Ligorett, etc. Lord sired 90 daughters and 60 Licensed sons.
