CADEAU
Cadeau, who was bred and reared in Denmark,
attracted all attention during his stallion approval
in Neumunster.
He
did not only convince by his beauty and charm, but
also by his radiating presentation with important
body characteristics which still reflect the
background of the highly esteemed dam lineage. His
sturdy foundation is endowed with big strong joints,
and particularly in his trot he excels with a firm
rhythm and well accentuated mechanics, showing good
ground cover.
The Sire Silvermoon was a premium
stallion of his approval in 1993 and sold to
Denmark, where he stood at stud for most of his
career. He also showed successfully up to PSG level
and later sold back to Germany, where he now stands
at stud in Bavaria. He is a grey son of the
important Kostolany, one of the breed's currently
most versatile and successful sport horse producer.
Since Silvermoon's dam is by Mahagoni, this
particular stallion is interestingly inbred to that
important Anglo Trakehner stallion and dressage
producer.
Silvermoon's famous dam, the elite
mare
Suleiken, is also dam of the
premium stallion
Schampus (by
Karon), who left the approved
Tipo and several good performance
horses, especially in show jumping.
Silvermoon is the sire of WEG
2006 GP Special Champion Mare Blue Hors Matine.
In Cadeau’s pedigree you will find
the winning stallion’s Kostalany, EH Bartholdy,
Schiwago and EH Mackensen. There are also the
reserve winners
Arrogno and EH Caprimond, who is truly passing on
his type. And the excellent stallions Magahoni and
Karon. Last but not least there is Silvermoon, the
sire of Cadeau, a successful advanced dressage
horse.
In
2003 at the Hessen Approvals Cadeau received the
Premium Stallion award.
He
was Vice Champion of 4yo Stallions at the Federal
Trakehner Horse Show.
In
2005 Cadeau was awarded the title of Elite
Candidate.
Current performance record at 3rd
level with wins consistently in the mid to upper 80's
