The Sire Belissimo M set a new record on the
breeding stage. Prior to 2002, there had never been
a score combination in the 30 Day Test such as the
one that he achieved with 9.63 for rideability and
8.77 for jumping, as well as a total score of 9.25,
which put him in the lead of his test lot.
Celebrated as the top horse of the NRW Autumn
Auction in Munster-Handorf in 2002.
He won the 4 year old Stallion Class at The
Bundeschampionate in 2003 and
5th in the 5 year old Dressage Horse Finals at the
2004 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses
at Verden in Germany.
Grandsire Beltain fullfilled his breeding
requirements through his own performance successes
in the dressage sport and is currently revitalising
the Bolero bloodline. He was bred from one of the
most valuable mare lines of the Hanoverian breed. He
is half brother of the highly esteemed hereditary
transmitters Wolkenstein I, II and III.
The Grandam Roxa already presented a number of
successful dressage horses.
Romadour II represented the Westfalien studbook at
the DLG Exhibition in Munich, where he was awarded
the 1-a winner’s prize, while his daughters, Riviera
and Ranja were awarded the 1-a and 1-b distinction
respectively in the three year old class. Nicole
Uphoff’s Rembrandt is, of course, the most famous of
Romadour II’s progeny, and his breeding sons, Renoir
I and Rosenkavalier have continued to pass on his
legacy, most notably through Rubinstein and his
sons.
Lucius xx on the Grandam's side of the pedigree also
introduced valuable thoroughbred blood.
The maternal bloodline of Welfe moreover also
brought forth another successful sports horses for
all disciplines, apart from Belissimo M, including
the stallions Cash and Fly (private stallion
Holstein), Cinamant K (private stallion Westphalia)
and Pluco (private stallion Oldenburg, Rheinland,
Saxony)
The Damsire Cordoba passed his Performance Test at
Adelheidsdorf in 1992 and ranked 4th out of 43
overall (3rd in dressage, 18th in jumping).
According to the FN yearbook 2000 he was holding a
very good dressage index of 124 gained by only 47
registered show horses in Germany.
Due to his outstanding dressage qualities, he became
a member of the famous Celle Chesnut Quadrille as a
6-year old. |
