AMORADO
Here is a stallion
that has a convincing style over a jump and also the
capacity to breed dressage horses. In his 30 Day
Test he scored equally as well in his dressage as he
did in his jumping.
The Sire,Amantus
absolved his Stallion Performance Test in Warendorf
in November 2000 in the forefront of his age-class.
The Damsire,
Corrado was shown internationally by the great
Frankie Sloothaak, he won the biggest show in the
world, Aachen, setting the stage for his superstar
jumping career. His wins all over Europe set him
apart as the epitome of jumper sires. In 1994
Corrado won the German National Championships.
What is intriguing
about Corrado I is the absolute proven cross of Cor
de la Bryere and Capitol. Cor de la Bryere is
respected as one of only a few Elite stallions ever
to produce such rideable horses for all the Olympic
disciplines. Add to this the absolute
level-headedness of the Capitol line and it's no
wonder Corrado inherited such talent. At his 100 Day
Test Corrado received 10's in loose jumping and 8's
on rideability and canter. He has produced 60
approved stallion sons and 111 approved daughters.
The Grandsire, Acord II was strongly frequented by
breeders from all over Europe and has meanwhile
developed into a veritable premium stallion His
first few covering years resulted in numerous
approved sons, including Araconit who is covering in
B aden- Wlirttemberg. Araconit won the Holstein
State Riding Horse Championship in Bad Segeberg in
1996, became Federal Vice- Champion in 1998 and
sixth in the show jumping finals in Warendorf in
1999. Acord II offspring dominated the federal
German Showjumping Championships of 1999. Acord II
has moreover presented no less than 14 horses at the
battle of show jumpers in Warendorf. Four of the
thirteen placed horses in the six-year old category
alone, derived from Acord II, including the Champion
Atlantic (Ulrich Kirchhoff). Acord II's showjumping
progeny brought him the title of the best producer
of show jumpers for the ninth time in the year 2000,
according to the FN breeding value rating. The
Damsire Cor de la Bryere was one of the most
important foundation sires of Holstein breeding
following the Second World War, who apart from his
undeniable qualities as a procreator of show
jumpers, established flourishing stallion dynasties.
As he appears in the paternal side of the pedigree
once more, the blood connection to this invaluable
premium stallion that has been so well tried in
Holstein is established once more. The grandam
Wielen produced two further daughters, Elms (by
Cobalt) and Hallig (by Fantus), both of whom
likewise became dams of stallions. Elms was mated
with Cor de la Bryere to produce the stallion
Cinzano, who was an international show jumper and
led the FN breeding value statistics of his age
class a number of years. Hallig on the other hand,
gave birth to Silvester, one of the most important
procreators of showjumpers of his generation in
Holstein. The mare Undine, a full-sister of Cinzano
produced the popular stallion Lusello (by Lorentin
I) for the Holstein Association.
