ABKE
Abke
is a capital jumper with a distinctly beautiful form
and a high degree of elasticity, also in his basic
paces. He is at home on the course: ability,
technique and bascule meet the highest demands. His
ability to handle fences is simply phenomenal. In
2002 Abke completed the aptitude test in Vechta with
way above-average results, demonstrating
particularly his aptitude for jumping in an
impressive manner. He won numerous novice,
elementary and intermediate showjumper tests, and
qualified for the 2004 and 2005 German Federal
Championships and in 2005 he was 2nd at the State
Championships at Rastede.
His
first class first crop (not a single chestnut)
earned him the Ib Main Premium in Vechta in 2003.
Abke has been accepted into the Hanoverian Jumper
Breeding Program. In 2004 he qualified for the
Bundeschampionat. He already has one approved son and
In 2005 some of Abke’s offspring were sold via the
Oldenburg and Hanoverian foal auctions in Vechta and
Verden.
His
Sire Acorado I won the stallion performance test in
Adelheidsdorf in 1997, where he twice received the
maximum score of 10.00 for his overwhelming jumping
ability. In 1999 and 2000 a series of wins in
elementary (L) and intermediate (M) level showjumper
tests followed. In both years he also successfully
participated in the Federal German Showjumping
Championships. In 2003 Acorado I gained placings in
various competitions up to Nations Cups, but died
unexpectedly soon after.
The
Damsire Contender is one of the most proven Holstein
performance transmitters. His approved son Montender/Marco
Kutscher won team gold and individual bronze at the
2004 Olympic Games in Athens. His progeny’s winnings
in sport surpassed Euro 2.1 million in 2004.
The
Grandam Rajana also gave birth to the S*** level
showjumper Carlo Colucci, a full brother to Abke’s
dam Contenda, and to the three Rouletto offspring
Romanist (Grand Prix dressage horse), Remember Me,
and Romeo (both M level showjumpers). Raphael, the
third link in the chain of ancestry, is one of the
most significant contemporary transmitters of
performance. The third mother Wulkje also produced
Little Joe and his full-sister La Luna (by Liberty
M), who both won showjumping tests up to M/A class,
and the dressage horse Roccoco (by Rouletto), who
was successful up to Inter I level. The threefold
inbreeding to Ramiro and Cor de la Bryčre in the
earlier generations is remarkable.
The
Damline also brought forth the renowned sires
Agrigento (private stallion Oldenburg), Grandelstein
(Neustadt/Dosse state stallion), Kadett (Celle state
stallion), Noble Dancer (private stallion
Oldenburg), President (BEL) as well as the Bavarian
state stallions Rivero I (Grand Prix dressage) and
Rivero II (approval and stallion performance test
winner, St. Georges).
